S & G's Beautiful Half Moon Bay Wedding at Oceano Hotel & Spa

Getting Ready & First Look at Oceano

Since Graziella and Steven wanted to prioritize more of the night time activities of their wedding, Maddie and I got to the Half Moon bay just before Graziella put on her dress. I shot a couple quick photos of the girls finishing up their makeup and the classic wedding photo of Mom helping her daughter into the wedding dress. After Graziella was ready, we went straight into the first look with the Groom followed by a special surprise for the groomsmen.

The Ceremony

Steven and Graziella's Half Moon Bay wedding ceremony at Oceano Hotel was absolutely beautiful. Tide and Bloom Floral did such an amazing job with the flowers. The pergola, bouquets, and tablescapes looked great! I would definitely recommend them for your flower needs!

Cocktail Hour

The cocktail hour at Oceano Hotel & Spa was lively, full of smiles and excitement was in the air. Stephen & Graziella spent a a little bit of time with their guests before leaving to go up to Montara state beach for a private vow reading and some beach portraits. This was our favorite part of this Half Moon Bay wedding As a California wedding photographer who also does elopements, I felt right at home shooting this portion of the day. Montara Beach was a bit foggy, making the light perfect for their portraits, and there was hardly anyone there which is always nice! They read their vows privately with the sound of waves crashing in the background. I then took them down to the beach for a couple more portraits.

If you are planning a wedding n Half Moon Bay, I'd HIGHLY recommend that you check out Montara beach to have some pre or post ceremony portraits taken here. It is so, so stunning!

Oceano Hotel Wedding Reception

After the beach, it was time for the reception! Our couple had a grand entrance, ate some delicous food provided by Oceano, listened to some lovely toasts and danced the night away. The beautiful three tiered cake was made by fish wife sweats. At the end of the night, there was even a cigar bar. All in all, it was the perfect way to end the night!
